Pre-Surgery Jitters: Solutions for Enjoying Every Stage of the Breast Augmentation Process

The worst part about undergoing breast augmentation tends to be the weeks before the actual surgery.  You’ve done your research, you’ve made the decision to go through with the procedure, and now all you have left to do is wait anxiously for your scheduled day for surgery.

Easy, right?  That’s not always the case.

As with any important decision, undergoing breast augmentation can be a roller coaster of emotions.  You might feel excited about the idea one day, and worried about the outcome of your procedure on the next.  This is absolutely natural, and a common experience that many women go through during the weeks leading up to the procedure.

There is, however, a way to make this process more tolerable (for you, and for your friends and loved ones who might be riding the roller coaster with you!)

I always tell my patients who have pre-surgery jitters that the important thing to keep in mind is that you are doing this for yourself – to feel better about your body.  As with any process of beauty or aesthetics, what little pain or discomfort might be involved is usually worth it in the end.

In the meantime, start thinking of all of the new fashion styles you’ll be able to wear, all of the confidence you will have, and all of the heads that will turn when you pass by!
