
A very interesting story. Losing 200 pounds can be done. But usually with some surgical help.
But not just change in the obvious ways — the gastric bypass surgery followed by increasingly smaller clothes, a thinner face and everything else that accompanies significant weight loss.
The biggest changes have been intangible: her attitude toward food, the way she budgets her time, her motivation and drive and acceptance of this transformation as an ongoing journey.
“Maybe people might think, ‘Oh, gastric bypass, that’s the easy way out.’ But this,” she said, encompassing the interior of Gold’s Gym in Clifton with a sweep of her arm, “this is the toughest thing I’ve ever done.”
