Breast Augmentation and The Changing Face of Fashion

If you find yourself frustrated while shopping for clothes, you are not alone.  Many of my clients list fashion as one of their top reasons for undergoing breast augmentation surgery.

While models on runways in New York City, London, and Paris are typically lithe and generally lacking in abundant curves, the fashions that most women find in department stores seem to be generally made for women who have a B or C cup size.

If you have anything less (or more), it can be extremely difficult to find clothes that fit you properly.   While this doesn’t seem fair, it is a simple fact.

Breast augmentation can boost a woman’s self-esteem in many ways – one of which is in bettering her appearance while fully clothed.  This includes clothing of all types.  In the corporate environment especially, business suits and more “masculine” type clothing is standard.

Women who have smaller breasts tend to feel like their femininity is subtracted from in clothing like this, and are all too often aware of how their clothes might not “hang right” on their bodies, or show their curves.

While you certainly don’t have to undergo breast augmentation to find fashion that fits, it can be an added bonus that the surgery allows you to be much more versatile in your wardrobe choices.

It’s just one of the many reasons why my job is so rewarding: giving women the opportunity to feel better about themselves and to exude more self-confidence is always a good thing.
