Recovery from Breast Augmentation - the Real Facts
Most of my patients who come in for breast augmentation have one comment to say during the days following surgery: “I can’t believe how easy this was!”
Although I always attempt to ease their minds during consultation, the extensive blogs and forum postings on the Internet seem to reiterate how difficult it is to recover. Women who do their research find these and are inevitably concerned about such issues as: When can I return to work? How difficult will it be for me to take care of my children? Will I need to be on pain pills for days afterwards?
While any surgery has its level of discomfort afterwards, I am able to explain to women who come in for a consultation how my techniques for breast augmentation differ from those of most other plastic surgeons. My experience has allowed me the opportunity to perfect the method, and to reduce trauma on your body significantly.
Here is a fact: You can’t believe everything you read, especially on the Internet. Breast Augmentation surgery does not have to be a painful process and the recovery is so much easier than you might think.
